Hi! I’m excited to join the Farrell B. Howell team as a Tele Speech-Language Pathologist. With the support of in-person Farrell B. Howell Speech-Language Pathology professionals, I look forward to an amazing year of providing services for our students! I currently reside in, and I’m originally from Louisiana. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA, and my Master’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Memphis in Memphis, TN.

This is my second assignment with Denver Public Schools, my fifth year as a Tele Speech-Language Pathologist (I began teletherapy before the pandemic), and my 21st year as a Speech-Language Pathologist. I’m licensed to provide services in Louisiana, Colorado, California, and Guam. I’ve truly enjoyed providing teletherapy services for students and collaborating with educators throughout the United States.

I chose the field of speech-language pathology because having the ability to communicate our likes, dislikes, wants, needs, desires, hopes, and dreams gives us the power to shape our lives and the world around us. When I’m not providing speech and language therapy, I enjoy writing non-fiction, cooking, practicing yoga, singing, and playing the piano/keyboard.
