My name is Oscar Valcarcel I am a lawyer but I found a real passion in teaching. I received my undergraduate degree in Law from La Gran Colombia University, hold a degree in education from Libre University in Colombia, and I attended Denver Metropolitan University to obtain my teaching certification. I count with over 20 years of teaching experience and I feel passionate about promoting and implementing strong instruction that is culturally responsive. I have been living in Denver for 11 years. I am originally from Colombia. When I am not teaching I like to play soccer and also I like to visit my family and my friends. My favorite thing about being part of the Farrell B. Howell family is the community and the great team.
