Farrell B. Howell Vision
A chief of the Pawnee tribe of Native Americans, Mr. Howell was the first DPS principal of Native American heritage. He served as a coach and principal of various schools between the years of 1964 and 1999. Mr. Howell was very active with the Denver Indian Center and was a member of the Colorado Commission of Indian Affairs.
It is with great honor that we bear the name Farrell B. Howell as we move forward, not only believing, but knowing, that every child will succeed.
